Mongolian beef


  • 500g lean beef sliced
  • 1 large brown onion (thinnly chopped)
  • 2 carrots (thinnly chopped)
  • 1/2 red capsicum
  • bunch of bok choy
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 cup salt reduced beef stock
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds


  1. heat pan and spray with oil
  2. in pan cook beef strips, onion, garlic, carrot and capsicum
  3. when amost cooked add bok choy, beef stock, soy sauce and ginger
  4. stir and serve on plate
  5. sprinkle sesame seeds

Adam’s Tip: have it with 1/2 cup cooked rice per person
