Enjoy these Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Balls as a delicious and healthy snack!
They're perfect for curbing hunger pains without derailing your health goals.
Ingredients
- 2 scoops of The Man Shake Chocolate powder
- 1 cup of natural peanut butter (smooth or crunchy based on preference)
- 1 cup of rolled oats
- 3 tablespoons of honey (adjust to taste)
Optional:
- A pinch of salt to enhance flavours (especially if using unsalted peanut butter)
- Toppings: Extra oats, cocoa powder, or desiccated coconut
Method
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine The Man Shake Chocolate powder and rolled oats. If you're adding salt, mix it in now.
- Add Wet Ingredients: Add the peanut butter and honey to the bowl. If the peanut butter is quite thick, you might want to gently warm it in the microwave for a few seconds to make it easier to mix.
- Combine: Mix all the ingredients together until well combined. You can use a spoon or spatula at first, but as the mixture thickens, you might find it easier to use your hands to ensure everything is thoroughly mixed.
- Roll the Balls: Take small portions of the mixture and roll them into balls. The size is up to you, but around 1 inch in diameter is a good standard size. If the mixture sticks to your hands, wetting them slightly can help.
- Coat (Optional): Roll the balls in your choice of coating – extra oats, cocoa powder, or desiccated coconut work well.
- Chill: Place the protein balls on a baking sheet or plate lined with parchment paper. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.
- Store: Once set, the protein balls can be transferred to an airtight container and stored in the fridge for up to 1 week or in the freezer for a longer shelf life.
