After A Wakeup Call From His 7-Year Old Son, This Dad Said Enough Is Enough

I started my journey with The Man Shake right after my son’s 7th birthday
party in June 2025. That day, he pulled up my shirt and laughed, saying,
“Daddy, show me your fat guts!” It was a wake-up call. I realised that
wasn’t the kind of role model I wanted to be for him, so I decided to take
action. The very next day, I ordered The Man Shake.

I chose The Man Shake because of all the great reviews I had read that
told me it would work to control cravings and keep me full. So, I thought
I'd give it a try.

5 months later, it turned out to be the best decision I made.

When I started, I weighed 132.5kg. At first, I barely saw any change on the
scales, which was discouraging, so I stopped focusing on the numbers and
just kept going. I even bought The Man Shake book and treated it like my
weight loss bible. It kept me motivated when things got tough.

Every morning, I started with a big glass of water, went for a walk, then
had my Man Shake. I began by walking 5km, and now I’ve worked my way
up to longer distances.

When I started using The Man Shake, Mixed Berries was my favourite
flavour. Now, my go-to flavours are Salted Caramel and Choc Chip Cookie
Dough. They taste like dessert, leaving me feeling energised instead of
sluggish. I also have a Man Bar each day - usually Choc Honeycomb, Choc
Coconut or Rocky Road. The bundle packs are great value and help me
stay away from takeaway cravings. Drinking plenty of water throughout
the day also keeps my hunger in check.
One of my favourite breakfasts was blending frozen blueberries, light
Greek yoghurt, and a scoop of Mixed Berries Man Shake. It felt like a treat
and kept me full all morning.

Fast forward 5 months and I’ve now lost 31.5kg! I'm now walking 10km,
four days a week, in about 70 minutes! When I first started, it took me
nearly an hour just to do 5km.

My family has been my biggest cheer squad, especially my wife and son.
But, at the end of the day, the decision to change had to come from me.
You’ve got to reach that point where you say, “Enough is enough.”

For me, The Man Shake has been like having a personal trainer but at a
fraction of the cost.
